Homes are sold with no profit made. Homeowners contribute "Sweat Equity" and house payments are recycled to build additional homes.  Habitat for Humanity Hudson County does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, age, handicap, religion, marital status, or because any portion of an applicant's income is derived from public assistance programs.

Habitat for Humanity Hudson County promotes home ownership with volunteers building houses in partnership with Hudson County residents in need of adequate housing. We serve West New York, Union City, North Bergen, Harrison, Secaucus, Guttenberg, East Newark, Weehawken, Hoboken, Bayonne, Kearny, Jersey City, and all communities in Hudson County.

Established in 2004, Habitat Hudson County will be starting construction on our first two homes in 2008!   Join Us!

Please join us in honoring Michael Fields, First Vice-President of Valley National Bank and Brian Petrequin, Attorney-at-Law, LeClair Ryan (formerly Seiden Wayne) as a special thank you for outstanding contributions to Habitat for Humanity at our Builder of the Year Awards Dinner.  The dinner will  be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, 6:00 p.m. at Casino in the Park, Jersey City, New Jersey.  Donation $150 per person includes full buffet, open bar and music.  To purchase tickets or for more details, contact Margaret Cook Levy at [ email ]   or call 201.209.9002.

MENTORS: Our Partner Families could use your help!  We are looking for tutors for middle school and high school students and mentors for a 14 year male and a 16 year old female.  We are also looking for sponsor/advocates for each family.  If interested, please call our Family Support Chair, Emily Parodi, at 201-725-4469.
